The Solidyne DX816 12 Channel On‑Air Console is a compact digital mixer designed for FM, AM, internet and TV news studios that need professional facilities on a moderate budget. It offers 12 input channels with balanced analogue and digital I/O, becoming the central surface for live programmes, production and phone‑in shows in small and medium‑sized stations.

The Solidyne DX816 handles up to 5 microphone inputs with high‑resolution preamps, 4‑band voice EQ and built‑in compression, along with balanced and unbalanced stereo line sources, two USB stereo digital inputs and three internal telephone hybrids. Two hybrids handle landlines and one connects wirelessly to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, with all three available in conference. Separate Program and Record buses, USB digital outputs and optional AoIP or AES options allow easy integration with automation systems and IP‑based studios.
