Glensound Vittoria RR is a professional 32×32 RAVENNA network audio bridge designed to move audio securely between two completely separate RAVENNA/AES67 networks. It provides bidirectional DSP-based audio transfer while keeping network discovery, clocking, control traffic and data paths isolated, making it ideal for broadcast centres, outside broadcast trucks, live production facilities and other critical AoIP installations.
The bridge uses two independent RAVENNA network interfaces and creates a secure firewall between them. Only selected audio channels are passed through the unit; the networks are never merged. This approach allows programme, communications, intercom or monitoring audio to cross between production and facility networks without exposing either system to unwanted network traffic or operational risk.
Glensound Vittoria RR supports 32 input and 32 output channels at sample rates up to 96 kHz, or 16 input and 16 output channels at 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz. High-quality asynchronous sample-rate conversion allows the two networks to operate at different clock rates and sample frequencies from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz. The RAVENNA interfaces support AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110-30 workflows, allowing the bridge to fit into modern IP broadcast infrastructures.
Each RAVENNA interface includes primary and secondary Gigabit copper Ethernet connections on Neutrik EtherCON sockets, plus primary and secondary fibre connections via SFP module slots. Dedicated BNC word-clock input and output connections are provided for both network sides. Dual load-sharing AC power supplies provide redundancy, helping the bridge remain operational if one mains feed or power supply fails.
Glensound Vittoria RR is suited to systems where two RAVENNA networks must exchange selected audio without being combined into a single network.
