Glensound Vittoria DR Dante-to-RAVENNA Network Bridge

Glensound Vittoria DR is a 32×32 Dante-to-RAVENNA network bridge with sample-rate conversion and redundant network and power connections.

Glensound Vittoria DR is a professional Dante-to-RAVENNA network bridge for moving audio securely between two separate AoIP systems. It provides 32 bidirectional audio channels between a Dante network and a RAVENNA/AES67 network while maintaining complete network isolation, making it ideal for broadcast centres, outside broadcast trucks, live production and critical audio facilities.

Glensound Vittoria DR Network Bridge

The Glensound Vittoria DR operates as two fully independent network interfaces: one Dante interface using Audinate Brooklyn II technology and one RAVENNA interface. Audio crosses between the two systems in DSP, while network discovery, control traffic and clock domains remain separated. This creates an effective firewall between the networks, allowing selected programme, communications or monitoring channels to pass without exposing either network to the other.

Glensound Vittoria DR supports 32 input and 32 output channels at sample rates up to 96 kHz, or 16 input and 16 output channels at 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz. High-quality sample-rate conversion allows each network to operate asynchronously, supporting sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz. The RAVENNA side is also compatible with AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110-30 workflows, helping the unit integrate Dante-based audio with wider broadcast IP infrastructures.

Each network interface includes primary and secondary Gigabit copper connections on Neutrik EtherCON sockets, plus primary and secondary fibre connections through SFP module slots. Separate BNC word-clock inputs and outputs are provided for both interfaces. Dual load-sharing AC power supplies provide power redundancy, allowing the bridge to continue operating if one supply or mains feed fails.

  • 32×32 bidirectional Dante-to-RAVENNA network bridge
  • Complete network isolation and firewall protection
  • Independent Dante and RAVENNA/AES67 network interfaces
  • 32 channels at up to 96 kHz or 16 channels at 176.4/192 kHz
  • Sample-rate conversion between asynchronous networks
  • AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110-30 compatibility on the RAVENNA interface
  • Primary and secondary Gigabit copper Ethernet connections
  • Primary and secondary fibre connections via SFP slots
  • Dedicated BNC word-clock I/O for each network interface
  • Dual load-sharing redundant AC power supplies in a 1RU chassis

Glensound Vittoria DR can connect a Dante-based audio system to a RAVENNA, AES67 or SMPTE ST 2110-30 production network without merging the two infrastructures. For two-network Dante-only bridging, consider the Glensound Vittoria DD. Where a higher channel count is needed, the Glensound Vittoria 64 DR provides a 64-channel Dante-to-RAVENNA bridge option.
