TEKO AXON 100W is a compact low-power FM transmitter with adjustable 0–100 W output, a 2U chassis and automatic VSWR protection, suitable for standalone broadcasting or exciter applications.
TEKO AXON 100W is a professional low-power FM transmitter and exciter for standalone broadcasting or driving a larger RF amplifier. Its adjustable 0–100 W output allows engineers to set the required operating level, while the compact 2U chassis saves rack space. The AXON platform uses LDMOS amplifier technology and microprocessor control to support dependable transmission and flexible system integration.
TEKO AXON 100W operates across 87.5–108 MHz in programmable 10 kHz steps. Mono, stereo and composite MPX operating configurations accommodate different programme chains. XLR audio and BNC composite inputs provide connections for compatible studio sources and external processing. Selectable flat, 50 µs or 75 µs pre-emphasis allows configuration for the applicable broadcast standard. Confirm the supplied stereo and digital-input facilities when specifying the unit.
Forward power, reflected power and modulation indication support local checks during commissioning and operation. RF output can be switched and adjusted from the front panel or remotely. Automatic power fold-back responds to VSWR above 1.5:1, helping protect the RF stage against an antenna or feeder mismatch. A separate BNC monitor output provides an RF sample for measurement equipment without disconnecting the transmission path.
The wide-range 90–260 V AC supply accommodates different site power arrangements. Optional TCP/IP web telemetry and dynamic RDS facilities extend control and programme identification capabilities. Alternative OIRT and Japanese frequency bands are available on request. Specify these options when ordering rather than assuming they are included in every configuration. Seven selectable setups support installations requiring stored operating configurations.
