Glensound Vittoria DD Network Bridge Interface

Glensound Vittoria DD is a 32×32 Dante/AES67 network bridge with sample-rate conversion and redundant network and power connections.

Glensound Vittoria DD is a professional Dante/AES67 network bridge designed to transfer audio securely between two separate Dante networks. It provides a firewall between the networks while passing up to 32 bidirectional audio channels, making it well suited to outside broadcast trucks, production facilities, theatres and other professional systems where network separation and reliable audio transport are essential.

Glensound Vittoria DD Dante Network Bridge

Each side of the bridge operates as an independent Dante/AES67 interface, allowing the two networks to remain isolated from one another. This helps protect network security and keeps separate clock domains, device discovery and control traffic apart while allowing selected audio channels to cross between them. The two sides can operate asynchronously and at different sample rates, with high-quality sample-rate conversion performed between the networks.

Vittoria DD supports 32 input and 32 output channels at sample rates up to 96 kHz, or 16 input and 16 output channels at 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz. Both network interfaces support primary and secondary redundant operation through Gigabit copper Ethernet on Neutrik EtherCON connectors or Gigabit fibre through SFP module slots. Separate front-panel BNC word-clock inputs and outputs are provided for each network interface.

Built for critical installations, the Glensound Vittoria DD has two load-sharing, redundant switch-mode AC power supplies. This means both supplies operate together during normal use, maintaining service if one mains feed or supply fails. The 1RU chassis provides a compact, robust solution for integrating production, venue, mobile and broadcast audio networks without combining them into one shared Dante domain.

  • 32×32 bidirectional Dante/AES67 network bridge
  • Firewall separation between two independent Dante networks
  • High-quality sample-rate conversion between asynchronous networks
  • 32 channels at up to 96 kHz or 16 channels at 176.4/192 kHz
  • Supports sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz
  • Primary and secondary redundant copper network connections
  • Gigabit fibre connectivity via SFP module slots
  • Dedicated BNC word-clock input and output for each network
  • Dual load-sharing redundant AC power supplies
  • 1RU format for OB trucks, studios and critical audio facilities

Glensound Vittoria DD can be used with separate Dante production and house networks, allowing selected programme, communications or monitoring channels to cross securely between them. For systems that need to bridge between Dante and Ravenna rather than two Dante networks, consider the Glensound Vittoria DR. The Glensound Vittoria 64 DD is a suitable option where a higher channel count is required.
