Glensound Vittoria 64/DR is a professional Dante-to-RAVENNA network bridge for transferring high channel counts between two completely separate AoIP systems. It provides bidirectional audio transfer between a Dante network and a RAVENNA/AES67 network while keeping their discovery, control traffic, multicast data and clock domains isolated from one another.
The bridge transfers audio internally through DSP, creating an effective firewall between the two networks rather than combining them into a shared infrastructure. This allows selected programme, communications, intercom or monitoring channels to move securely between Dante and RAVENNA systems, making the unit suitable for broadcast centres, OB trucks, production facilities and large live-event installations.
Glensound Vittoria 64/DR supports 64 input and 64 output channels at sample rates up to 48 kHz, or 32 input and 32 output channels at sample rates up to 96 kHz. Both network interfaces can operate asynchronously or at different sample rates, with high-quality sample-rate conversion provided between them. Supported sample rates range from 44.1 kHz to 96 kHz.
The RAVENNA interface is compatible with AES67 and full SMPTE ST 2110-30 workflows, enabling Dante-based audio systems to exchange audio with wider broadcast IP infrastructures. Primary and secondary Gigabit copper Ethernet connections are provided on Neutrik EtherCON connectors, with fibre connectivity available through SFP module slots. Separate BNC word-clock I/O is provided for each network side, while dual load-sharing AC power supplies provide resilience for critical installations.
Glensound Vittoria 64/DR is suited to large facilities that need to exchange selected audio between Dante and RAVENNA, AES67 or SMPTE ST 2110-30 systems without merging the underlying networks. For a lower channel-count solution, consider the Glensound Vittoria DR. Where both sides of the bridge are Dante networks, the Glensound Vittoria 64/DD provides the corresponding 64-channel Dante-to-Dante bridge.
