The Glensound Signature PS1 is a professional master power supply designed to provide redundant DC power distribution for Glensound Signature Series broadcast equipment. The 1U rack-mount unit contains two independent switch-mode power supplies, each capable of powering up to three Signature units simultaneously. The unit functions either as a primary master power source distributing DC to up to six devices, or as a redundant backup supply alongside the internal AC power supplies built into each Signature unit.
The Glensound Signature PS1 provides six individually regulated ±12V DC outputs on rear panel 4-pin Neutrik XLR sockets, with each output individually fused at 250mA per rail using internal polyfuses. This ensures that a short circuit on one output does not affect the other five outputs. Front panel LEDs indicate that each of the two internal power supplies is active. The master AC input accepts 100-240VAC at 47-63Hz for worldwide compatibility, with total power consumption of 10 watts at 230VAC. Six 2-meter 4-pin XLR cables are included for immediate connection to Signature equipment.
The compact chassis measures 336mm wide without rack ears, allowing vertical mounting inside equipment racks using flush-mounting side wings. With rack ears attached, the unit occupies a standard 19-inch 1U rack space at 0.85kg weight.
