Glensound Signature ADA 2:6 Stereo Distribution Amplifier distributes one stereo analogue source to six stereo destinations or one mono source to twelve mono outputs. Designed for broadcast installations, it provides dedicated feeds for transmitter chains, monitoring, streaming equipment and logging systems. Electronically balanced XLR connections accommodate balanced or correctly wired unbalanced equipment, supporting integration into existing audio infrastructure.
A recessed front-panel toggle selects stereo or mono operation and clearly indicates the current mode. Stereo operation distributes the left and right inputs to six output pairs. Mono operation provides twelve outputs from a single-channel source, making the unit suitable for distributing a commentary mix to multiple broadcasters. Recessing the switch helps prevent accidental changes during normal equipment-room operation.
Glensound Signature ADA 2:6 provides separate left and right input gain controls, accessed through recessed, multiturn front-panel presets. The published gain range is −10 to +15 dB. Each output is protected so a short circuit on one connection does not affect the others. A bright operational LED provides a quick status check, while the specified +24 dBu maximum output supports professional line-level distribution.
The Glensound Signature ADA 2:6 internal switch-mode supply accepts 100–240 V AC through a filtered IEC inlet. A separate four-pin XLR connection accepts external ±12 V DC for compatible primary or backup powering. Included rack ears support front or rear installation in a 19-inch rack, and side-wing mounting holes allow fixing to a flat surface. The anodised, laser-etched aluminium enclosure occupies 1U and weighs 1.16 kg.
