Eddystone E2072 Guardian DSP for Audio Source Management
The E2072 Guardian DSP is an advanced audio source management unit, designed to handle various audio sources such as lines, STLs, and on-site backups. This versatile unit excels at detecting failures in the composite/multiplex signal commonly used in FM broadcasting, as well as failures in analog stereo or AES/EBU digital program source signals. It then seamlessly switches to reserve sources to ensure uninterrupted audio delivery.
In cases where analog stereo experiences a failure in either the left or right main channel input, the E2072 automatically routes the remaining good channel to both main inputs, effectively converting the source to mono.
