The DEVA DB91-RX Compact IP Audio Decoder is a second‑generation IP audio receiver designed for high-quality broadcast, STL and remote programme distribution over standard IP networks. It supports HE‑AAC v1/v2, MPEG‑1 Layer 3 and uncompressed PCM streams, making it suitable for both bandwidth-efficient links and full-quality audio delivery in professional radio environments.
The DB91‑RX can receive streams via HTTP, Icecast, Shoutcast and RTP, including multicast operation, and provides both analogue stereo and digital audio outputs for easy integration with transmitters, processors and studio systems. A built‑in MP3 backup player with internal memory automatically takes over if the live stream is interrupted, then switches back to the incoming programme feed when the connection is restored. Configuration, status monitoring and setup are handled through a standard web browser, with additional SNMP and syslog support for networked broadcast sites.
The DEVA DB91-RX pairs naturally with the DEVA DB91‑TX Compact IP Audio Encoder, which can send HE‑AAC, MP3 or PCM streams directly to one or more DB91‑RX units. Together they create a compact same-brand IP audio link for studio-to-transmitter paths, backup feeds and remote programme distribution.
