Biquad HELLO NANO V2 Telephone Hybrid

Biquad HELLO NANO V2 is a portable 1-line telephone hybrid for POTS call-ins with balanced XLR audio and echo cancellation, ideal for radio, TV and external broadcasts.

Biquad HELLO NANO V2 is a compact telephone hybrid interface designed for bringing listeners and guests on air from a standard POTS line. It is built for external transmissions, small studios and OB setups that need a simple, reliable way to connect one phone caller into the programme with broadcast-quality audio.

The Biquad HELLO NANO V2 hybrid uses a fully electronic active circuit similar to Biquad’s ALO series, providing the 2-wire to 4-wire transformation needed to separate send and return audio paths. Balanced XLR inputs and outputs give good shielding and clean sound, and the ECO-style echo cancellation provides strong isolation between the studio feed and the caller audio to reduce feedback and hollow, metallic artefacts. HELLO NANO V2 works with conventional telephone lines or PBX extensions and is powered from the line itself, so there is no need for an external mains supply in the field.

Front-panel controls and indicators make call handling straightforward for operators: a call button to answer and drop the call, status LED, and level controls for audio sent to the line and returned to the console. The rugged, small enclosure is easy to mount or place near the mixer, and RFI and surge protection on the telephone input help keep the interface stable in real-world RF environments.
