The Alice LinePAK MKII is a professional dual balanced-input to balanced-output line amplifier for broadcast and studio use where accurate line-level control is essential. Two independent channels provide variable gain via front-panel multi-turn presets, letting you trim or boost levels to integrate mixers, processors, codecs and transmission equipment cleanly in the same signal path.
Inputs and outputs are on Neutrik balanced connectors, which can be wired unbalanced if required, so the Alice LinePAK MKII can also serve as a balanced-to-unbalanced or unbalanced-to-balanced interface or as a simple line buffer amplifier. With a flat 20Hz–20kHz frequency response within ±0.2dB, common-mode rejection better than 60dB and distortion below 0.005% at 1kHz and +8dBu, it delivers clean, transparent audio suitable for programme and monitoring feeds.
The Alice LinePAK MKII amplifier offers a gain range from 10dB loss to 22dB gain, low noise performance at –100dB ref. +8dBu (unity gain) and headroom up to +25dBu on both input and output, ensuring stable operation in demanding broadcast chains. A rack-mount kit is supplied, and the compact chassis with IEC mains inlet (230V AC as standard, 115V variant available) fits neatly into 19-inch racks in studios, technical areas and OB vehicles.
