TEKO Broadcast AXON 150 – 150W FM Transmitter combines an FM exciter and solid-state LDMOS amplification in a compact 2U chassis. Its output is adjustable from zero to 150 W, supporting installation as a standalone transmitter or as a driver within a larger broadcast system. Standard frequency coverage is 87.5–108 MHz, with programming in 10 kHz steps.
The transmitter provides a 50-ohm N-type RF output and front-panel indication of forward power, reflected power and modulation. Automatic power foldback responds to excessive antenna mismatch, with the manufacturer specifying a maximum normal VSWR of 1.5:1. A BNC RF monitoring connection supports external checks. Microprocessor-controlled frequency synthesis provides published stability better than ±150 Hz between −10 and +50°C.
TEKO Broadcast AXON 150 is available in mono/MPX and stereo configurations, so select the version that matches the station’s audio chain. The family specification includes XLR audio inputs and a BNC composite input for externally generated MPX signals. Selectable flat, 50 µs and 75 µs pre-emphasis supports different processing arrangements. Stereo coding and AES/EBU facilities should be confirmed against the ordered configuration rather than assumed for every unit.
The AXON platform supports local operation and configurable system integration. TEKO lists web TCP/IP telemetry and dynamic RDS as available options, while alternative OIRT and Japanese frequency bands can be requested. Confirm installed options before specifying remote browser access, SNMP monitoring or internal RDS generation. Seven selectable complete setups support multi-configuration applications. Keep regional band selection, audio interfaces and control requirements together when preparing the purchase specification.
