TEKO Broadcast AXON 1200W FM Transmitter combines an FM exciter and solid-state LDMOS amplifier in a compact 2U enclosure. Adjustable output from zero to 1200 W supports standalone broadcasting or operation within a larger transmission system. Standard coverage is 87.5–108 MHz, programmable in 10 kHz steps, with alternative OIRT and Japanese frequency bands available upon request.
A 50-ohm DIN 7/16 connector provides the main RF output, while a separate BNC monitoring connection supplies a −60 dBc sample for external measurement. Front-panel indication of forward power, reflected power and modulation supports operating checks. Automatic power foldback responds to excessive antenna mismatch, with 1.5:1 specified as the maximum normal VSWR. Published frequency stability is better than ±150 Hz between −10 and +50°C.
TEKO Broadcast AXON 1200W is offered in mono/MPX and stereo configurations to suit different station audio chains. The published specification includes XLR analogue audio connections and a BNC composite input for externally generated MPX signals. Flat, 50 µs and 75 µs pre-emphasis settings support different processing arrangements. Confirm stereo encoding, AES/EBU digital input and Audio over IP against the ordered configuration rather than assuming every interface is fitted.
An LCD display, direct-access keys and status LEDs provide local operation. Seven stored setups support multi-configuration applications and integration into suitable N+1 systems. Available options include web TCP/IP and SNMP connectivity, dynamic RDS with TMC, and a parallel remote-control interface. Aluminium construction, ducted cooling and a serviceable front air filter support equipment-room installation.
