TEKO Broadcast AXON 1 kW FM Transmitter combines an FM exciter and solid-state LDMOS amplifier in a compact 2U enclosure. Its 1000 W rating supports standalone broadcasting or integration into a larger transmission system. Standard coverage is 87.5–108 MHz, programmable in 10 kHz steps, with adjustable output for matching the transmitter to the required operating level.
Microprocessor-controlled frequency synthesis provides published stability better than ±150 Hz between −10 and +50°C. Local indication of forward power, reflected power and modulation supports operating checks. Automatic power foldback responds to excessive antenna mismatch, while hardware and software protection support fault management. A −60 dBc BNC RF monitoring connection allows external measurements without disconnecting the main transmission path.
TEKO Broadcast AXON 1 kW is available in mono/MPX and stereo configurations to suit different station audio chains. The published AXON specification includes XLR analogue audio inputs and a BNC composite input for externally generated MPX signals. Selectable flat, 50 µs and 75 µs pre-emphasis supports different processing arrangements. Confirm stereo encoding, AES/EBU digital input and Audio over IP against the ordered configuration rather than assuming every interface is fitted.
The TEKO Broadcast AXON 1 kW LCD display, direct-access keys and status LEDs provide local operation. Seven stored setups support multi-configuration applications and integration into suitable N+1 systems. Available options include web TCP/IP and SNMP connectivity, dynamic RDS with TMC, and a parallel remote-control interface. Aluminium construction, ducted cooling and a serviceable front air filter support equipment-room installation.
