Sonifex AVN-FM-DNT is a multi-station FM tuner that delivers eight selectable stereo FM stations to Dante or AES67 networks, expandable by licence to 32 stations.
Sonifex AVN-FM-DNT brings FM radio directly into a Dante or AES67 audio-over-IP network. Designed for broadcast monitoring, radio capture and 24/7 distribution, Sonifex AVN-FM-DNT receives up to eight independently selectable stereo FM stations as standard and delivers each station as a dedicated Dante audio source. Licences can expand the unit to 16, 24 or 32 stations without replacing the hardware.
A single 75-ohm RF input feeds the integrated FM tuner, which covers 87.5–108.5 MHz in 25 kHz steps. Each selected station is available as a stereo Dante stream, with mono operation, selectable 50 µs or 75 µs de-emphasis and low-bandwidth mode for weaker or noisy signals. RDS decoding, received-signal-strength monitoring and real-time RF spectrum information are available through the web interface and Ember+ control.
Sonifex AVN-FM-DNT provides up to 64 Dante transmit channels at a fixed 48 kHz sample rate, allowing two audio channels for every licensed stereo station. Dual EtherCON network ports support switched or redundant network modes, while redundant PoE supplies help maintain operation if one network or power path fails. Dante Controller, Dante Domain Manager, web control and Ember+ support integration into managed AoIP systems.
