RigExpert Stick 500 Antenna and Cable Analyser provides portable RF measurements from 0.1–500 MHz for antenna adjustment, installation checks and fault investigation. Covering HF, VHF and the 70-centimetre amateur band, it helps users assess resonance, matching and feeder performance. Its compact enclosure weighs 185 g with the battery installed, making the instrument practical for workbench measurements and visits to outdoor antenna installations.
RigExpert Stick 500 measures standing-wave ratio, return loss, resistance, reactance, impedance magnitude and phase. Capacitance and inductance readings are available in series and parallel models. Single-frequency measurements provide detailed numerical results, while SWR charts show behaviour across a selected frequency range. Multé mode supports quick checks of multiband antennas, and HAM mode simplifies checks within amateur-radio bands.
Integrated cable tools include StubTuner and measurements of cable length, impedance and loss. These functions help users investigate feed lines and prepare matching sections without relying on antenna SWR alone. Factory calibration supports immediate operation, while an OSL calibration mode provides additional measurement flexibility. Follow the manufacturer’s procedure when applying calibration to a particular measurement arrangement.
The RigExpert Stick 500 monochrome E-Ink display remains readable in direct sunlight, supporting measurements beside an antenna installation. USB Type-C connects the analyser to compatible computers and charges the battery, while Bluetooth enables wireless communication with supported software. The rechargeable battery provides up to 16 hours of continuous measurements, with charging taking approximately three hours. Disconnect transmitting equipment before testing and follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions. The splash- and dust-resistant enclosure supports field use, but sensible handling remains important around exposed antenna systems.
