The PCS CYBERMAX AM+ BE 100W AM Transmitter is a compact solid-state transmitter designed for low to medium power AM broadcasting on medium-wave or shortwave bands. Based on the AMMAX8000 platform, it combines DSP-controlled audio, DDS frequency generation and a PWM modulator in a practical rack format. Its wideband design removes the need for tuning across supported frequency ranges, simplifying installation and frequency changes. It fits naturally into AM transmitters deployments and complements the wider PCS Electronics product line.
The transmitter provides 2 x XLR, 2 x RCA and USB audio inputs, with mono or stereo sources summed for AM transmission. RF output is on BNC with 50 ohm impedance in the 1H version. MW coverage is 530–2000 kHz, while selected shortwave bands are also available depending on the version ordered.
In daily use, the transmitter is straightforward to configure using the graphic display, rotary control and browser-based remote interface. Engineers can adjust audio processing and monitor forward or reflected power without needing separate external control hardware. Its compact format, robust solid-state design and flexible frequency coverage make it suitable for hobby, community, educational, experimental and backup AM applications.
