Description
The OMB CHANGEOVER UNIT is a microcontroller-based system which monitors the correct operation of the main transmitter and automatically switches to the back-up transmitter if it detects any failure in the main transmitter’s operation. Directional couplers at RF level are used for failure detection and its configuration is fully programable by users: 0dB power level, intervention threshold, transmitter switching time, automatic or manual operation mode, and hot or cold standby.
The equipment can be supplied with two different possibilities:
– A Version: 3-ports relay to switch transmitters up to 200W.
– B Version: pilots a 4-ports relay for any power and frequency.
