The Smart Penguin is a portable TV measurement device that has Wi-Fi connectivity. It can measure TV networks including DVB-C, DVB-T, DVB-T2, DVB-S, DVB-S2, and ATV. In addition, it can measure IPTV networks and has an Optical Power Meter. This device allows service providers to perform real-time measurement of broadcast and network services. With a battery life that can last up to 6 hours, it can be used during new installations or maintenance and repair work on components of TV/IP/Optical networks and transmitters. Besides an RF field strength meter, the Smart Penguin is also an IPTV analyser, supporting RTP/UDP unicast and multicast streams.
