System Details

In a 1+1 system, the ECRESO Changeover continuously compares the health of the main and reserve transmitter and automatically switches RF, audio and control to the backup unit if the main fails. In an N+1 system it supervises up to eight program transmitters and a shared reserve, selecting the appropriate RF path and control when any on-air transmitter raises an alarm. Switching criteria can include RF power limits, VSWR thresholds, audio silence, hardware faults or external contact closures.

The controller offers clear front-panel indication of active and standby transmitters along with comprehensive logging of events for post-fault analysis.
