Product Overview

The DB KFG 100 is a 100W FM power amplifier from the KFG series, designed to cover the entire 87.5–108MHz broadcast band with excellent efficiency and long-term reliability. GREEN RF™ architecture combined with patented COLD-FET™ devices delivers RF efficiency figures above 70%, cutting heat and AC consumption compared with conventional amplifiers at the same output power. Housed in a 19″ 2U chassis, the DB KFG 100 works as a stand-alone 100W amplifier, as the RF stage in compact transmitters, or as a building block in larger modular systems.

• • Forced-air cooling with oversized heatsinks and externally mounted redundant fans to extend transistor life and simplify maintenance.

• • Optional liquid-cooling kit with large heat exchanger and redundant pumps for harsh, high-temperature or space-constrained transmitter rooms.

• • AAD anti-corrosion design using anticorodal aluminium, ducted airflow and tropicalised PCBs to withstand salt, humidity and dust.

• • Wide AC input options (typically 115/230 VAC single-phase or 230/380 VAC three-phase depending on configuration) with power factor above 0.9.

• • Standard 19″ x 2U rack format for easy integration in existing racks or multi-amplifier KFG NEXT systems.
