Biquad USB22 Dante Audio Interface is designed for radio, TV, podcast and installed-sound facilities that need to move audio between computers and Dante-based IP audio systems. Acting as a 2×2 bidirectional bridge, USB22 carries two channels of audio from a USB host onto the Dante network and simultaneously returns two channels of Dante audio back to the computer or USB device.
This makes USB22 ideal for connecting playout, recording, streaming and conferencing software into a Dante infrastructure without internal sound cards or complex driver setups. A single USB connection handles send and return audio, while the Dante side appears as standard network sources and receivers, routable to any Dante-enabled console, router or processor using Dante Controller.
The Biquad USB22 interface is built for professional use, with low-latency operation suited to live broadcast and production. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support allows USB22 to be powered directly from a Dante switch, simplifying cabling in racks, studio desks and technical areas. In typical workflows, engineers can place the interface near the computer or BYOD device and use the network to carry audio to and from central equipment rooms.
