Biquad Mic Arm is a professional articulated microphone stand designed to provide smooth, precise microphone positioning in broadcast studios, podcast rooms, voice booths and production desks. Its integrated high-brightness ON-AIR LED gives talent and operators a clear visual indication when a microphone is live or in use, improving confidence and communication in busy studio environments.
The Biquad Mic Arm combines a robust anodised aluminium body with high-strength polyamide joints, internal spring support and concealed cable routing. This construction keeps the installation neat while allowing the microphone to be moved quickly and quietly into the ideal position. Smooth, precise joints support repeatable positioning without unwanted noise during use.
Choose the size that suits the desk layout: XS is 50 cm, M is 80 cm and XL is 100 cm. Biquad Mic Arm options are also available in black or silver, with or without the ON-AIR indicator, allowing studios to match reach, finish and live-status requirements across presenter, producer and guest positions.
The red LED indicator operates from a 3.5–24 V supply at approximately 40 mA and remains visible in bright studio conditions. Connection to the ON-AIR function requires a compatible console GPO or relay output. The arm supports microphones up to 2 kg and can be installed using Bushing, Table Clamp, Table Mount or Table Trough Mount base options, depending on the desk and preferred mounting method.
Biquad Mic Arm can be combined with the Biquad Table Stand for movable desk positions, the Biquad Nano Arm for compact installations and compatible Biquad mounting accessories to create a consistent microphone support system throughout the studio.
