Biquad DP22 Dante Audio Interface is built for radio, TV, podcast and installed-sound facilities that need to connect microphones and other analogue sources directly to a Dante network. The interface provides two analogue inputs and two analogue outputs, allowing it to work as a 2×2 bridge between local mic/line signals and an IP-based audio infrastructure.
Each input supports microphone or line-level operation and is designed for clean integration of studio mics, local sources or presentation feeds into an AoIP system. In a typical workflow, the inputs can feed a Dante-enabled console, router or processor over standard Ethernet, while the analogue outputs return programme or cue signals to local powered speakers, distribution amplifiers or other analogue equipment in the room.
Because it uses the Dante protocol, the Biquad DP22 can be discovered and routed using standard Dante Controller software, appearing on the network as two send and two receive channels. PoE power support allows the interface to be powered directly from a compatible network switch, reducing cabling and making it easy to mount the unit close to microphones, talent positions or stageboxes in studios, voice booths and production spaces.
Biquad DP22 can be incorporated into complete radio studio and IP audio installations supplied through Broadcasters Warehouse, working alongside interfaces such as the Biquad AD22 Dante Audio Interface, Biquad DA22 Dante Audio Interface and Biquad USB22 Dante Audio Interface.
