Biquad DBOX44A Dante Audio Interface

Biquad DBOX44A is a Dante network audio interface with four analogue inputs and four analogue outputs, designed for high-quality, low-latency conversion between Dante audio networks and legacy mixers, processors and distribution systems in professional broadcast and installed-sound environments.

Biquad DBOX44A Dante Audio Interface is aimed at radio, TV, corporate and installed-sound projects that need to move multiple analogue channels in and out of a Dante-based IP audio infrastructure. With four analogue inputs and four analogue outputs, DBOX44A functions as a 4×4 bridge, allowing engineers to connect existing mixers, processors, stage boxes or zone amplifiers to modern networked audio systems.

The interface converts analogue signals to Dante for transmission over standard Ethernet, and simultaneously receives Dante audio from the network and delivers it back as balanced analogue. This makes DBOX44A suitable for tasks such as feeding programme audio and returns between central DSP or routing cores and local rooms, integrating legacy sources into AoIP matrices, or providing multiple tie-lines between traditional studio hardware and Dante-enabled equipment.

Using the Dante protocol, the Biquad DBOX44A offers low latency and high audio quality, with channels discoverable and routable via Dante Controller. Once connected, the four input and four output channels appear on the network as addressable Dante send and receive paths, enabling flexible routing, simple reconfiguration and easy expansion of existing systems without rewiring. The interface is well suited to conference rooms, multi-purpose halls, studios and technical areas where reliable conversion between analogue and network audio is required.

  • 4×4 Dante audio interface with four analogue inputs and four analogue outputs
  • Converts analogue audio to Dante and Dante network audio back to analogue
  • Designed for high-quality, low-latency audio transmission over standard Ethernet
  • Ideal for integrating legacy mixers, processors and amplifiers into Dante systems
  • Channels discoverable and routable via Dante Controller
  • Suitable for studios, conference rooms, halls and installed-sound projects

Biquad DBOX44A can be incorporated into complete radio studio and IP audio installations supplied through Broadcasters Warehouse, working alongside smaller interfaces such as the Biquad DP22 Dante Audio Interface, Biquad AD22 Dante Audio Interface, Biquad DA22 Dante Audio Interface and Biquad USB22 Dante Audio Interface. Together, these solutions give system designers a comprehensive toolkit for bridging analogue microphones, processors, computer audio and multi-channel line systems into Dante-based networks.
