Biquad DBOX1616A Dante 16 Analog Audio Interface is designed to connect large analogue audio systems to Dante networks with reliable, low-latency signal conversion. With 16 analogue inputs and 16 analogue outputs, it provides a practical 16×16 bridge between traditional audio equipment and modern audio-over-IP infrastructure.
The Biquad DBOX1616A allows analogue signals from mixers, processors, amplifiers and other line-level equipment to be converted into Dante audio for transport over standard Ethernet networks. At the same time, it can receive Dante audio from the network and return it as analogue output, making it suitable for studios, broadcast facilities, conference systems and larger installed audio projects.
Its multi-channel design makes it a strong choice wherever a large number of analogue sources and destinations need to be integrated without complex point-to-point wiring. By moving audio over Dante, the interface helps simplify system design, supports flexible routing through Dante Controller and allows existing analogue equipment to remain part of a scalable networked audio system.
Biquad DBOX1616A can be paired with the Biquad DBOX44A Dante Audio Interface, Biquad DP22 Dante Audio Interface and Biquad AD22 Dante Audio Interface to build flexible Dante systems around both multi-channel and local analogue I/O points.
