The Alice MonoPAK MKII is a compact stereo to dual mono level-matching unit that converts a balanced-line stereo input into two fully buffered balanced-line mono outputs. Both mono outputs are electronically buffered and independently adjustable via multi-turn presets accessible from the front panel, providing around 10dB loss to 20dB gain referenced to a 0dB stereo input. This makes the Alice MonoPAK MKII ideal for feeding separate mono destinations from a stereo source while maintaining correct operating level, low noise and high headroom in professional studio and broadcast environments.
Use the Alice MonoPAK MKII to derive separate mono feeds from a stereo programme bus for recorders, telephone hybrids, codec inputs or PA sends, or to feed identical mono signals to two different destinations at optimised levels. Its high common-mode rejection, low noise and wide headroom make it suitable for studio, OB and fixed broadcast installations where reliable stereo-to-mono conversion and level control are required.
Combine the Alice MonoPAK MKII with Alice distribution amplifiers and line interfaces in our distribution amplifiers section to build flexible mono and stereo routing in racks and control rooms. To explore more related products, visit our Alice brand page.
