The AEA VIA Bravo MRI 3000 is a portable network analyzer designed specifically for MRI system alignment and RF coil testing. Its ultra-low magnetic signature allows safe operation in close proximity to magnetic fields up to 10 Tesla, making it the ideal test instrument for installing and servicing MRI systems without interfering with the magnetic environment.
The AEA VIA Bravo MRI 3000 accurately measures impedance from 0 to 2000 ohms, resistance, impedance angle, reactance (X), Q factor, return loss, and SWR. It can simultaneously display any two measurement parameters on its quarter VGA backlit color display with user-selectable color schemes. The frequency sweep is plotted on the X axis with independent left and right Y axis scales, and the one-button auto-tune feature locates the coil’s best SWR or return loss automatically.
The analyzer includes MRI PC Vision software, which permits remote control operation from a laptop or PC, uploads test results via USB, displays VNA or Smith charts in full color, and stores complete analyzer data. The internal memory can hold hundreds of plots and setups, and the cable null option eliminates test lead or feed line effects. Power is provided by 12-18 VDC adapter or 8 AA batteries for portable field use.
