EU Consumer Rights – Returns Policy
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers in the EU have the following rights when purchasing from Broadcasters Warehouse:
🕒 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
For online, phone, or mail-order purchases (i.e., distance contracts), customers have 14 calendar days to cancel and return an item for any reason, even if they just changed their mind.
The 14-day period starts:
- From the day the customer receives the goods (for physical items)
- From the day the contract is signed or activated (for digital goods or services)
💸 Refund Requirements
The seller must issue a full refund, including the standard delivery cost (if any), within 14 days of receiving the return or proof that the item was sent back.
The customer may be required to cover return shipping unless the seller offers free returns.
🛍️ Applies to:
- All sellers operating in the EU (including non-EU sellers selling to EU customers)
- All consumer sales — not B2B transactions
