Biquad Mic Arm is a professional broadcast microphone arm with an integrated high-brightness red LED on-air indicator at the tip of the boom. It is designed to give studios a clean, modern look while clearly showing presenters and guests when their microphone is live on air.
The Biquad Mic Arm uses anodized aluminium sections with fluid movement and high-resistance polyamide joints, so the microphone can be positioned quickly and quietly without mechanical noise. The embedded LED “ON AIR” indicator shows when the mic is open or in use, with strong visibility even in bright studios and low current consumption over a wide voltage range. The arm is available in several lengths around 50 cm, 80 cm and 100 cm to suit different desk layouts, and supports typical broadcast microphone weights up to around 2 kg, making it suitable for most studio dynamics and condensers.
To fit different furniture and studio designs, Biquad offers several mounting bases including bushings, table clamps and through-desk mounts, all compatible with the same arm design. The Mic Arm can be used as a standalone upgrade for existing consoles, or paired with Biquad’s FM processors and studio accessories for a unified look and workflow.
