The XA300 boasts a wideband design, eliminating the need for manual tuning, and streamlining the installation process. Adhering to EBL’s renowned engineering standards, the XA300 features the innovative “fresh-air-tunnel” concept equipped with dual fans for efficient heat dissipation. These fans efficiently cool the custom-designed heat sink with unfiltered airflow, reducing the frequency of filter replacements. This airflow design is purposefully aimed at minimizing contact with sensitive components, thereby keeping them free from dust and contaminants. For demanding environments requiring additional air filtration, clip-on filter kits are readily available. These kits can be conveniently attached to the external PSU and RF sections of the XA300.
System Overview:
The XA300 integrates two hot-pluggable, high-grade switching power supplies on the front panel. These telecoms-grade units have an established track record for reliability, even in the harshest and most hostile environments.
The front panel of the XA300 features an LCD that provides real-time readings of forward and reflected power, internal voltages, and temperature. Quick-view LED indicators offer immediate status information, covering CPU health, system status, and external mute. The rear panel includes a remote control and monitoring socket, facilitating carrier muting and status signalling to an external system. Furthermore, data sockets are thoughtfully provided for interfacing with systems equipped to control exciters via RS232 or TCP/IP.
