SYES PCM 600 DAB – Compact Air-Cooled DAB Transmitter delivers 600 W RMS digital radio output in a compact 3U enclosure. Designed for DAB and DAB+ broadcasting, it combines RF amplification, adaptive signal correction and network supervision. Frequency-agile operation allows supported channel changes without tuning or trimming. Guaranteed output depends on the operating channel, supply conditions, output filtering and required spectral performance.
The platform supports DAB modes I, II, III and IV with 1.536 MHz RF channel blocks. SYES lists hitless EDI/ETI switching, Gigabit Ethernet and an optical/electrical SFP interface. Physical inputs depend on the installed exciter hardware, so specify the ensemble feed and redundancy requirements when ordering. The advertised Continuity of Transmission feature inserts null packets to compensate for brief input interruptions.
SYES PCM 600 DAB incorporates an onboard GNSS receiver supporting GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo for synchronised network applications. The datasheet also lists external 10 MHz and 1 PPS reference facilities. Manual, automatic and adaptive linear and nonlinear precorrection help optimise the transmitted signal. A configurable interlock circuit supports integration with external safety arrangements.
A SYES PCM 600 DAB front-panel LCD and keyboard provide local operation, while a browser-based interface and SNMP support remote supervision. USB configuration save/load simplifies setup and servicing. Two independently temperature-controlled, low-noise fans provide air cooling. The auto-ranging supply accepts 90–264 V AC at 47–63 Hz, and the published operating temperature range is 0–50°C. Allow suitable ventilation and confirm site-specific installation requirements before commissioning.
