Solidyne MX2100 Digital USB Mobile Mini Console

The Solidyne MX2100 Digital USB Mobile Mini Console is a compact portable broadcast mixer with USB audio, Bluetooth phone connectivity and four microphone channels for outside broadcasts and field reporting.

Product overview

The Solidyne MX2100 Digital USB Mobile Mini Console is a compact field mixer designed for outside broadcasts, remote journalism and low-cost mobile contribution links. It combines USB digital I/O, Bluetooth phone connectivity, internal dynamics control and rechargeable battery operation in a very small handheld format, allowing reporters and engineers to create full duplex links from almost any location. Its low power design and integrated operational tools make it particularly well suited to fast-deployment radio work.

Key features

  • Portable digital USB mini console for outside broadcast and field reporting
  • USB digital input and output for laptop-based streaming and contribution
  • Bluetooth connection for wireless mobile phone audio links
  • Four microphone channels, including three external mic inputs and one internal mic
  • Automatic compressor and AGC to maintain stable output level
  • Three headphone outputs for operator and contributor monitoring
  • Rechargeable battery operation for long untethered working sessions
  • Compact 600 g form factor for easy transport and rapid setup

Connectivity and I/O

The Solidyne MX2100 provides three external dynamic microphone inputs on 1/4″ TRS jacks, one internal condenser microphone, a mono line input and USB digital I/O for connection to a notebook or laptop. Bluetooth allows direct wireless pairing to a mobile phone, while wired phone connection options and DTMF dialling support additional remote contribution workflows. Program output is available on a balanced TRS connector, and the three headphone outputs allow multiple users to monitor the outgoing and return signal path. In practical mobile setups it can be used with audio interfaces and as a portable audio mixer where compact remote production tools are required.

In operation

In daily use the Solidyne MX2100 allows a single journalist or small crew to establish remote contribution links with minimal extra equipment. The internal dynamics processing helps keep speech levels controlled, while the USB and Bluetooth paths make it easy to work with laptops, mobile phones and internet streaming workflows in the same session. For broadcasters building agile contribution kits, the MX2100 offers a practical standalone solution within the wider Solidyne broadcast audio range.
