The Sigmacom EtherMPX NG Broadcast STL (Studio-to-Transmitter Link) system delivers uncompromised audio quality by avoiding modulation overshoots, minimizing latency for live on-air monitoring, and ensuring high accuracy and time stability for SFN (Single Frequency Network) operations. Built with high-reliability, dedicated hardware specifically designed for harsh environments like mountainous transmitter locations, the EtherMPX NG is an IP STL Encoder/Decoder system engineered with these principles in mind. It transports analog or digital MPX signals transparently, preserving signal integrity without degradation or reconstruction, with latency as low as 2.5 ms for MPX and 5 ms for L/R.
