RigExpert AA-3000 ZOOM Antenna and Cable Analyser provides portable RF measurements from 0.1–3000 MHz for antenna adjustment, feeder checks and fault investigation. Designed for amateur, professional and commercial radio applications, it combines impedance analysis with cable tools and time-domain reflectometry. Its large sunlight-readable Blanview colour display supports measurements at the workbench and beside an outdoor antenna installation.

Antenna and Impedance Analysis

RigExpert AA-3000 ZOOM displays SWR, return loss, resistance and reactance charts, together with a Smith chart for assessing impedance behaviour. Numerical measurements include impedance magnitude, resistance, reactance, capacitance, inductance and phase. MultiSWR checks five selected frequencies simultaneously, while Multé mode provides a quick assessment of multiband antennas. These views help users examine matching across an operating range rather than relying on one frequency reading.

Cable Testing and Fault Location

Time-domain reflectometry identifies distance to a cable fault or impedance discontinuity. Dedicated cable tools measure length and velocity factor, check cable loss and assist with coaxial stub tuning. The analyser also supports measurements of capacitors, inductors, transformers and traps. Factory calibration supports initial operation, while stored open-short-load calibration data allows different measurement fixtures to be selected without repeating every setup step.

Portable Display and Connectivity

The 800 × 480-pixel Blanview display of the RigExpert AA-3000 ZOOM combines high contrast with low power consumption. A multilingual interface and built-in Helper support local operation, while USB and Bluetooth 4.2 provide connections to compatible computers and mobile devices. Battery operation supports approximately five hours of continuous measurements under the factory’s stated conditions. Disconnect transmitting equipment before testing and follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions. Supplied accessories include a silicone case, battery charger, rechargeable batteries, USB cable and an N-to-UHF adapter.
