The Smart Penguin is a portable TV measurement device that has a 7″ LCD touchscreen display. It is capable of measuring TV networks such as DVB-C, DVB-T, DVB-T2, DVB-S, DVB-S2, and ATV, as well as IPTV networks. Additionally, it features an Optical Power Meter. This device provides real-time measurement of broadcast and network services to service providers. With a battery life that can last up to 6 hours, it can be used during new installations or maintenance and repair work on components of TV/IP/Optical networks and transmitters. Besides an RF field strength meter, the Smart Penguin is also an IPTV analyser, supporting RTP/UDP unicast and multicast streams.
