Glensound GS‑ET02 Twin Channel Audio Transformer Isolation

The Glensound GS-ET02 Twin Channel Audio Transformer Isolation unit is a portable two-channel line-level isolator designed to solve ground loop hum and noise problems in professional broadcast and live sound systems. Originally developed for demanding outside broadcast customers, it uses high quality Lundahl transformers and flexible grounding options to provide clean, quiet audio where cheaper DI boxes have failed.

Each channel provides transformer isolation between the input and output, with an input earth lift switch to break ground loops. A unique centre tap switch allows the transformer core to be referenced either to the input ground, the output ground, or left floating, giving engineers a powerful way to optimise common mode rejection and minimise interference in difficult environments. The GS‑ET02 offers very good line balance, excellent common mode rejection and extremely low distortion, with a clip point above +28 dBu and insertion loss of typically less than 0.2 dB at 1 kHz.
