The Eddystone E2023-05 is a transmitter controller and remote monitoring unit that provides a full graphical dashboard, secure IP access, SNMP support and detailed logging for modern FM transmitter systems.
The Eddystone E2023-05 transmitter controller provides complete monitoring and control of compatible FM transmitter systems from a single, intuitive interface. Designed as the central control point for Eddystone modular transmitters, the Eddystone E2023-05 displays forward and reverse power, PSU status, combiner temperature, individual amplifier parameters and interlock status on an easy-to-read dashboard that can be accessed locally or over IP.
Engineers can securely start, mute and select low or high power levels, as well as manage drive preference and status for main and reserve exciters directly from the controller interface. The unit supports access via LAN or WAN, a built-in secured Wi‑Fi access point and optional fixed 7 or 10 inch touch screen displays, enabling flexible local or remote operation at transmitter sites. One-touch installation routines and automated transmitter identification simplify commissioning, while on-board help pages and user manuals make it easy to find configuration details without separate documentation.
The Eddystone E2023-05 includes comprehensive logging tools so engineers can review system events, faults and power changes, as well as add their own notes during site visits. When connected to the internet or a local update server, the controller supports automated software updates and remote upgrade via USB, helping keep firmware, SNMP MIBs and security features current with minimal downtime. Customisable user authentication allows different access levels for operators and engineering staff, reducing the risk of accidental changes to critical parameters.
Connectivity options include Ethernet and Wi‑Fi as standard, with optional RS232 and GPRS where required. SNMP is provided as standard to integrate the Eddystone E2023-05 into network management systems or third-party monitoring platforms using the supplied MIB and SMI files. In a typical installation the controller is used alongside Eddystone S7600 series FM transmitters and E2021 amplifier modules, giving broadcasters a powerful, centralised way to supervise power, status and faults across their entire transmission chain.
