DREAM Transmitters SW1000 – Compact 1 kW Shortwave Transmitter provides a compact platform for professional shortwave broadcasting, with coverage of both the 49 m and 41 m broadcast bands. Its 1 kW power class suits installations requiring a dedicated HF broadcast transmitter without the scale of a high-power international transmission facility.
The DREAM Transmitters SW1000 covers both the 49 m and 41 m shortwave broadcast bands, giving the station two band options when planning its transmission schedule. Coverage of both bands should not be interpreted as simultaneous two-frequency transmission or continuous operation across the frequencies between them.
DREAM Transmitters SW1000 is a compact transmitter for professional broadcasting applications, including international and remote radio coverage. The complete installation should be specified around the intended operating frequencies, programme feed and antenna system. Confirm the RF output connector required (N-type as standard), antenna-matching requirements, mains supply, ventilation clearances and monitoring facilities before preparing the transmission site.
Specify the required channels in both broadcast bands when requesting the transmitter. Obtain a technical schedule confirming rated continuous carrier output, modulation capability, audio connections and operating limits for the supplied unit. Frequency authorisation and antenna-system suitability remain separate from the transmitter’s ability to operate on a particular band. Coverage performance depends on the complete installation and operating conditions, not output power alone.
