Aqua Arctic 4-Band Audio Processor

Aqua Arctic 4 Band Audio Processor is a compact FM processor combining multiband AGC, peak limiting, BS412 MPX power control and UECP RDS to deliver a polished, consistent on‑air sound.

Aqua Arctic 4 Band Audio Processor Overview

The Aqua Arctic processor is a sleek 1U FM unit built on precision DSP hardware and a Linux‑based OS. Its four‑band processing architecture evens out programme levels, adds punch and protects against over‑modulation so your station sound stays consistent on any receiver. A high‑performance digital stereo encoder, BS.412 MPX power limiter and integrated UECP‑compliant RDS encoder allow Arctic to feed your FM transmitter directly as an all‑in‑one processing and composite source.

Key Features

  • Four‑band AGC and multiband limiters that correct input level variations and tightly control peaks.
  • Bass processing, advanced clippers and mix controls to add impact while keeping distortion and listener fatigue low.
  • Oversampled stereo generator with composite clippers and pilot protection for loud MPX and excellent stereo separation.
  • BS.412 MPX power limiting with adjustable thresholds to keep deviation within regulations without losing competitive loudness.
  • UECP / RBDS RDS encoder for station ID, song and message data including AF lists, RadioText and traffic flags.
  • Analogue and AES/EBU I/O, dual MPX in/out, LAN, USB and GPIO with web, SNMP and other remote control protocols.

Applications

Use the Aqua Arctic 4 Band Audio Processor as the main FM processor at the studio or transmitter, alongside our
FM transmitters,
or as a composite processor driving analogue or digital MPX links, or as a backup chain for regional and community stations that demand reliable, polished audio in a compact 1U chassis.
