Introducing the AEV Dual Switch Audio Detector and Switcher

The AEV Dual Switch is a sophisticated audio detector and switcher featuring two inputs and one output, designed to meet various audio management needs. It comes with two stereo (Left and Right) balanced line inputs, two MPX (composite) inputs, one stereo output, and one MPX output. All level management operations are digitally controlled, ensuring precise and efficient performance.

The application range of the AEV Dual Switch is versatile, catering to both studio and remote (Supervisor) environments. In studio settings, it facilitates seamless switching between a main stereo source and a secondary source. As a Supervisor, it enables switching from a main stereo source, such as satellite reception, to a secondary source like a network of emergency terrestrial radio links, including alarm generation and emergency switchover functionalities.

The AEV Dual Switch is user-friendly and easy to program, thanks to its intuitive display and encoder located on the front panel. It features a passive bypass system (Relay) capable of directly bypassing the main input (MAIN) on the output (OUT) in case of extensive equipment malfunction or power loss.

Equipped with a color graphic display, the AEV Dual Switch simplifies management tasks. It accepts external controls, whether normally off or normally on, steady or pulse, enhancing flexibility in operation. The inputs are opto-insulated, and configuration can be done either via the panel or with a PC.

Additionally, the AEV Dual Switch provides an opto-insulated output control that relays the status of the internal audio switcher. Users can program the output opto-coupler status via the panel or PC, setting it to normally on, off, steady, or pulse mode.
