AEQ CAPITOL IP PLUS Digital Broadcast Mixer – Black Tabletop Model

AEQ CAPITOL IP PLUS Digital Broadcast Mixer combines a low-profile black tabletop control surface with a separate M_CORE PLUS audio engine. Ten physical faders, individual colour channel displays and a 7-inch touchscreen provide hands-on control for on-air broadcasting and production. Assignable sources and stored configurations allow the console to adapt to different programmes, presenters and studio workflows.

Hands-On Mixing and Audio Processing

Each AEQ CAPITOL IP PLUS  channel includes a 100 mm fader, gain encoder, CUE selection and direct programme/audition routing. Touchscreen menus and a Touch & Turn encoder provide access to detailed settings without crowding the surface. Processing includes three-band parametric equalisation, high-pass and low-pass filters, compressor/limiter and noise gate. Memory banks store routing, channel assignments and processing settings for repeatable operation.

Analogue, Digital and IP Connectivity

AEQ CAPITOL IP PLUS uses the 2U M_CORE PLUS engine for audio processing and most connections. Standard engine facilities include four mic/line inputs, twelve analogue line inputs, eight analogue line outputs, four stereo AES/EBU input/output pairs and two stereo USB input/output pairs. Dante/AES67 provides 16 bidirectional channels, with four reserved for surface communication; an optional upgrade expands the engine interface to 32 channels. The surface adds a microphone input, headphones, CUE output and bidirectional Bluetooth.

Broadcast Monitoring and Control

Independent studio and control-room monitoring, cough muting, automatic monitor muting, fader start, talkback and configurable N-1 feeds support live operation. Programmable keys and GPIO integrate external equipment and signalling. Optional Virtual Capitol software provides parallel or remote control. Dual telephone hybrids and redundant engine power are also optional. The tabletop surface requires no furniture cut-out and receives power through PoE++ using the included injector.
