Genelec is a Finnish manufacturer of active loudspeakers and subwoofers for professional studio, broadcast, post‑production and installed‑sound applications, headquartered in Iisalmi since 1978. It is widely regarded as a reference brand for nearfield and main monitoring in radio/TV control rooms and OB vans.​

Its portfolio includes the 8000‑series two‑way active monitors (8010, 8020, 8030, etc.), larger Smart Active Monitors with GLM room‑calibration, and compact solutions favoured in broadcast such as the 8010A.
