The SYS PCM -1 is the 1Wrms driver solution of the PCM family: In just 1U rack module-19” std PCM-1 is the driver for your analog-digital any standard transmitting system up to 60KW.
PCM is able to drive almost all transmitters and repeater with different standards analogue and digital worldwide. Based on a broad band modulator board (30MHz÷1GHz) it can deliver up to 30dBm to drive also high power transmitters with several amplification drawers., both in UHF, VHF BI and VHF BIII depending on the final stage used. It is already successfully used to drive not only SyES transmitter but also third parties equipment. It works also as transmitter logic in SyES single driver multi amplifier transmitter.
The PCM line is the result of more than 30 years of research and company experience and represents the state of the art of the RF transmitter technology. It’s a future-proof exciter thanks to its capability to modulate in all Analogue and Digital TV standards (and Radio too, with DAB/DMB!).
It’s the cost-effective solution for broadcasters who are transmitting in analog, and for broadcasters who are facing the transition from analog to digital, with or without a confirmed digital standard. The switch from Analog to Digital is always granted local or remote, via software using the front panel, the LAN connection or a plane contact. PCM is also the solution for those broadcasters who are already digital and need to take advantage of versatility in operation modes, configuration, and performance.
PCM can be a system driver or a low-power transmitter (UP to 250Wrms in 2RU). It can be configured as a regenerative transmitter, translator (integrated DVB-S2 receiver), heterodyne transposer or Single Frequency Gapfiller with Automatic Echo Canceller, all in a single hardware.
PCM implements DVB-T/T2, ATSC /MH, ISDB-T/Tb, DAB/DMB, DTMB and all ATV.
PCM always embeds linear and non-linear automatic pre-correction, to optimize the global system performance. Pre-correction can be static, i.e. based on pre-stored tables, or adaptive, with real-time evaluation and compensation of possible distortions in the amplification.
PCM can be configured and managed remotely, using dry contacts, via SNMP commands, via TCP/IP or graphic user interface using multiple web browsers.
PCM allows total remote control of itself and its functionality by serial protocols or TCP/IP ports. Our platform can easily be monitored/configured and updated using a LAN connection or a USB Key.
