Digigram PYKO-OUT
Key Workflow: audio over IP decoder for entry range studio to transmitter links (STL), as well as paging, background music, and live announcement applications
At a glance
PYKO-out is a small form factor rack-mountable stereo IP audio decoder. It features two balanced analog mono outputs and a USB port for storing local playlists on a USB memory stick. It decodes standard RTP streams in G711, G722, PCM, MPEG L3, or AAC-LC and HE AAC audio formats and allows for auxiliary data tunnelling (serial data, and 4 GPI statuses). PYKO-out also offers three decoding priorities with automatic failover, and can be remotely controlled through ASCII commands sent through TCP.
- Stereo IP audio decoder
- Decoding of standard RTP streams and WEB radio streams (Icecast/Shoutcast)
- USB port for storing local playlists on a USB memory stick for local backup
- Three decoding priorities with automatic failover
- Control and monitoring through WEB pages, ASCII commands over TCP, and monitoring via SNMP
Benefits
- Low STL entry price, while delivering high audio quality
- Easy installation and configuration
- Easy integration into a control application thanks to the ASCII commands protocol
